Big C & Little C

So I am new to blogging, but lately I've had so much that I've wanted to record of my baby boy's first year and our lives that I decided I'd give it a try. So here goes... Charles has begun to refer to himself as "Big C" and to Charlie as "little C". It's kind of stuck in our family so you will know the difference in my stories as I tell them. Little C is such a joy in our lives. It's hard to believe that it's been over 10 months since he's been in our arms. He's a social boy, especially with the girls/ladies. There are a few men that he will play with, but I think he enjoys teasing his Uncle Mark because he won't give him the time of day. I told Mark it's probably because he didn't like the nickname he gave him (Crick), but really he's quite picky about what men he will play with and those he won't.

Along those lines, Daddy is little C's best bud in the world. He gets so excited and gives a huge grin when he sees his daddy. They have this little "game" that they do where little C will yell out a sound and Big C is expected to join in and match it. They will do this off and on throughout the day and it's little C's favorite thing to do with Daddy. He also likes to crawl up and go to sleep with daddy on the couch.

Little C's favorite game with Mommy is that he says "aww". Mommy is supposed to follow by saying aww. Then Little C inserts his finger and checks out mommy's teeth, gums, and tongue. Once they pass inspection he gives a little giggle and moves on to cuddling or playing elsewhere. I guess it comes from the fact that Mommy is always inspecting his gums for those teeth to come through when he's teething.
